Application Deadline:

Requirements

Bright Futures offers money to help pay for college or career training just for living in Weld County while you’re in high school. There are no academic requirements to apply initially, but after your first year, you must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA. There are no income requirements or loans to pay back.

Just follow these instructions if you are a first-time applicant or a Bright Futures student applying for another year.

The deadline to complete the application or renewal process is May 15 at 5:00pm each year. If you miss the May 15 deadline for any reason, you will not be eligible to apply for Bright Futures funds again until the next school year.
