You must complete 12 hours of community service for a nonprofit, an organization providing a charitable cause, or an unrelated individual. You cannot complete your community service hours for an individual who is related to you. If a family business sponsors a charitable event and you volunteer to work the event, that would be eligible but be sure to identify the name of the event on your community service log.
After the 12 hours are completed, upload your log before the application deadline. We encourage you to volunteer for the benefit of Weld County residents. However, if that is not practical in your situation, you may complete your community service wherever you reside.
Community service hours must be completed within the past twelve (12) months of the application deadline.
